Tampa MetroCon was truly a great experience. MetroCon is the largest Anime Conference in Florida. The participants were lively and proud. There was a surprisingly large LGBT presence in the young people and there were no looks or people making fun. I hope this is a glimpse into the future!
The people who stuck out were the ones who did not dress up. Being a
Kung Fu student and having class right after MetroCon, I dressed in full Kung Fu uniform and fit in perfectly!
